This might seem a bit geeky but if you’re into photographic art you may know something about Tilt-shifting.
Tilt-Shift miniature faking is a creative technique whereby a photograph of a life-size location or object is manipulated to give an optical illusion of a photograph of a miniature scale model. There’s some neat examples here.
Via AttuWorld Nederland I found this TiltShiftMaker site that allows you to upload an image or select a web-photo and then customize your own tilt-shift of your photo. This is a quicky I tried:
Amsterdam Canal : Original Left, Tilt-Shift on the right. Cool eh.
